Charles Cumberworth (1811-1852) – Alfred Daubrée (1817-1885)

Daubrée established his foundry in 1850 at 85 Rue Montmartre, Paris, before moving to 48 Boulevard de Strasbourg in 1860. Daubrée collaborated with renowned artists such as FRATIN and CUMBERWORTH, designing a myriad of exquisite bronze objects that showcased his exceptional skill and artistic vision. His work quickly gained recognition for its impeccable craftsmanship and aesthetic beauty, earning him admiration and acclaim from peers and patrons alike.

The pinnacle of Daubrée’s career came in 1867 when he received an award during the prestigious “L’Exposition Universelle” in Paris. This honor served as a testament to his artistic prowess and solidified his reputation as a master of his craft.
